- This season, the sibling duo’s inspiration stemmed from fantastical Russian costume designer and fashion illustrator, Erté, and drew further influence from exploration of the chic, effortless silhouettes of the 1920s. The clothing and jewellery were then contrasted with the sharp edge of punk and piercing cultures. The detail and styling used by Chloé Comme Parris for these collections creates a harmony between contrasting styles; modest and feminine meets attitude and angst, facilitating the overall image for F/W 2012 summed up by the phrase “Beautiful Badass.”
