She creates imagery based on pop culture, media, high-end commercial advertising and the absurd.

GENERAL INFO - Broadcast People is created by Gwen Brydson, an award winning Toronto photographer with work that spans art, editorial and commercial photography. broadcast people is her first large scale project involving social media as an integral element. A fusion of social media and photography, the live interactive installation invites members of the public to participate by entering the "Public Domain" and triggering cameras by pushing a single red button.

As the project is in progress, photos and videos of participants are uploaded simultaneously as a grid of security cameras act as a backdrop. The project's purpose is to record the movements of each interaction.
